1. Overview
SpaceLens does not require an account. The current native release has no advertising, behavioral analytics or third-party tracking SDKs. We do not upload your photos, videos, asset identifiers, review plans or scan results to servers operated by us, sell personal information, or track you across apps. Processing on your device still involves accessing information with your permission, as described below.
2. Photos and videos
With permission, the app accesses authorized media and necessary metadata, including identifiers, capture dates, dimensions, duration, favorite status and album information. This supports browsing, duplicate and similarity comparison, possible-blur detection and organization. Analysis may compute local fingerprints, thumbnail features or sampled video frames. Results are heuristic suggestions and may be incorrect. Scanning primarily covers locally readable media; cloud-only assets, Live Photos or unreadable items may be skipped. When you preview media, Apple's Photos framework may download an original under your network and iCloud settings. This is an Apple service, not an upload to us. Album creation, album assignment and deletion use Apple's Photos framework. Album assignment does not copy or back up originals. Deletion requires your action and system confirmation. iCloud Photos may synchronize deletion across devices. Apple controls Recently Deleted and recovery behavior.
3. Local plans and preferences
Asset identifiers, titles you enter, purposes, review dates and kept/queued states are stored in the app's local container. Reminder preferences and identifiers of albums created in the app are stored in local preferences. Media fingerprints, quality features and file sizes are also processed in memory during scans. Plans and preferences remain until changed, relevant records are removed, or the app is deleted; scan results may be released when a session ends. Uninstalling does not automatically delete system photos or albums. iOS device backups may include app data, subject to your Apple backup and restore settings.
4. Notifications and storage information
Optional local notifications remind you to review photos. They use generic wording without your photo titles or purposes. You can disable reminders in the app or revoke notification permission in iOS Settings. Delivery depends on iOS and Focus settings. The app reads total and available device capacity to display storage information, not to fingerprint your device. Available space may not update immediately after deletion.
5. Permissions and control
You can allow selected photos, allow full access, decline access, or change permissions in iOS Settings. Declining or revoking access limits browsing, analysis and organization. This release does not request contacts, microphone, camera or location permission.
6. Sharing and system services
We do not share in-app photo data with advertisers, data brokers or analytics providers. Apple provides Photos, iCloud, notifications, backups and App Store services under Apple's applicable terms and privacy policy. If you email support, we receive your email address and information you choose to provide, solely to respond and resolve the issue. Please avoid unnecessary private photos or sensitive information. Support correspondence is retained until the issue is resolved and reasonable retention is no longer needed, unless law requires otherwise. Email providers may process correspondence under their service terms.
7. Your choices and requests
You can edit plans, remove items from deletion review, revoke access or uninstall. Because we do not hold a copy of your device's photo data, we cannot remotely access, restore or erase it. To request access, correction or deletion of support correspondence, contact crazeid@crazeid.com. We will verify necessary details and handle requests under applicable law.
8. Security, children and changes
We rely on system permissions, the app sandbox and measures such as atomic plan writes; no system guarantees absolute security. The app is for general audiences and is not designed to collect children's information. Minors should review deletion decisions with a guardian. Contact us if inappropriate information about a minor was provided to us. We will update this policy and its date when practices change and obtain separate consent where legally required. Nothing in this policy limits mandatory rights under applicable law.
